Our innovations began with the highly effective self emptying barrel auger and have progressed to our latest model, the MC3000S which is designed for drilling on steep gradients.

Our staff operate in a professional and courteous manner and are dedicated the health and safety and the needs of the client. All of our foreman drillers are accredited NVQ Level 2 rotary drillers and drilling crews are trained in site safety awareness, first aid, manual handling techniques and are certified for all necessary plant machinery.

The Health and Safety of our employees and those who work in conjunction with them is of the highest priority to Magpie. All aspects of our works on site have been fully risk assessed by our own qualified health & safety manager.
Each individual project has a comprehensive and site specific Health and Safety Pack produced and issued to the client for review and comment. All of our drilling rigs & plant machinery are maintained & certified to meet UK/EC legislation including PUWER ‘98 & LOLER ’98.
