DRILLING FOR MONITORING IN NATURAL GROUND
In addition to our waste drilling operations we also provide natural ground drilling services, including the installation of gas and groundwater monitoring boreholes around landfill sites.

Diameter and depth capacity varies. We can offer boreholes 120mm to 300mm diameter up to 100m deep, with specifications beyond these parameters also possible dependant upon rig availability. Testing, sampling and coring are also available upon request.

Drilling in Natural Ground can be undertaken with various different techniques depending upon geology and site specific requirements. Magpie offer many different options including common flushing techniques, dry drilling and simultaneous casing and drillings systems.

We can also offer assistance on which techniques would be most suitable for site specific projects – if you require any advice then please contact us by either email or telephone. Site visits can also be arranged where necessary.
